Computer lab hours are from 7am to 2:30pm Tuesday through Friday (8:30am to 2:30pm on late start Mondays).
Students can use the computer lab from 7:00am to 7:45am before school Tuesday through Friday and 8:30am – 9:30am before school on Mondays (late start days) and both lunches without a teacher or administrator approved pass. It is a study hall environment during these open hours, so working quietly, allowing other students to concentrate is greatly appreciated.
All other times during regular class periods or assemblies, the student must present a permission slip to the computer lab administrator. Teachers are welcome to call ahead to make sure we have computers available.
Only bottled water is allowed, as is the case for all libraries in the world. Please refrain from bringing food and drinks into the computer lab.
Individual students are allowed in the computer lab all other times, but must be accompanied with a note from a teacher or administrative staff. We also honor the library “red card”. The red card tracks the student’s schedule. If a student does not have a red card, they are asked to log into Power School to verify that they do not have a class scheduled for this time period. Some teachers call ahead as well, which is greatly appreciated.
Teachers can schedule the computer lab several ways:
Stop by Room B-201: talk to Neal (or simply write in the red COMPUTER LAB RESERVATIONS book if Neal is away from his desk)
When the computer lab is closed, please see Julie Anzelmo (or one of her staff) in the Library/Media Center.
