Registration Process 2022-2023
East High registration will be in-person this year. Registration letters with student pins will begin to arrive by mail beginning July 30, 2022. Online registration will be available beginning on Monday August 1, 2022.
High School Registration Dates
Tuesday August 16, 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday August 17, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Thursday August 18, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
First day of school is Tuesday, August 30 , 2022
SLCSD Returning Students: Every Student Attending grades 9th through 12th must complete the registration process.
Students with a student ID# and a Registration pin: Parents should receive this information in a physical letter starting 7/30/2022. If you are a current SLCSD student that is scheduled to attend East for this school year and do not receive this information by August 3rd, you can call the Student Services department at East High School 801-583-1661 ext. 2203 or 2203 after August 3, 2022 for assistance.
Please click on the Registration link for all returning students. Once you have entered the student’s school ID number and the registration pin, the system will direct you in completing the process. The online registration is completed once you have entered your electronic signature and you have reached the page asking you to log off. You will also have to attend one of the in person registration dates in order to receive your schedule and to take a photo for a student ID.

Students new to the Salt Lake City School District:
This option is for any student who has moved into East’s boundaries and did not attend a SLCSD school last year (please remember if you are a student coming in from one of the SLCSD middle schools you are considered a returning student and can use your student number and pin to register).
Please click the Registration Link, then register as a new student. The system will direct you in completing the process. You will be asked to upload documents to streamline the registration process. We need copies of the student’s Birth Certificate, Immunization Records and 2 proof of addresses to verify you live in East’s boundaries. The online registration is completed once you have submitted all the required information and entered your electronic signature and you have reached the page asking you to log off. If you are not able to upload these documents on the system please call the Student Services department after August 3, 2022 and we can schedule an appointment to complete registration.

FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH APPLICATIONS AND FEE WAIVERS ARE TWO SEPARATE APPROVALS. See each individual link for more information.
All students will need to have a picture taken at school. This will be used for their student ID card which will need to be in their possession whenever they are on school premises. Picture ID’s will be taken during the first week of school.
